Cranes confirm 24-man squad for Lesotho tussle

Uganda head coach Sebastien Desabre on Sunday announced his final 24-man squad for home and away 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho this month.

The biggest causality is Allan Okello with the KCCA teenage sensation cut from the provisional squad.

Mustafa Kizza, Poloto Julius, Nelson Senkatuka, Ambrose Kirya and Bashir Asiku also failed to make the final squad.

The Cranes play host to Lesotho in Kampala on Saturday ahead of the reverse fixture in Maseru three days later.

The final 24 man squad:

Goalkeepers: Denis Onyango (Mamelodi Sundown, South Africa), Jamal Salim (El Meriekh, Sudan), Charles Lukwago (KCCA FC, Uganda)
