The South African Football Association (SAFA) have announced that Thembinkosi Lorch and Thamsanqa Mkhize have been called-up to the Bafana Bafana squad.
Lorch and Mkhize replace the injured duo of Mamelodi Sundowns fullback Thapelo Morena and Orlando Pirates attacker Vincent Pule, who were both released from the Bafana Bafana camp on Monday after being assessed by the medical team.
Cape Town City captain, Mkhize, has been in good form this season and helped his club to a maiden MTN8 crown last month. Lorch, who was drafted in as a replacement for his Buccaneers teammate, has directly contributed to four goals in eight games this season.
South Africa play host to the Seychelles at the FNB Stadium in Soweto on Saturday in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, before taking on the same opponents in Victoria three days later.
