Gabon will square off with South Sudan in the 2019 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualification Group C match.

The encounter will be played at the Stade d'Angondjé in Libreville on Friday, October 12.

Kick-off is at 17h00 CAT.

The Panthers were held to a 1-1 draw by Burundi at home in their previous 2019 AFCON qualifier last month.

Gabon then lost 1-0 to Zambia at home in an international friendly match.

The Central African side will be keen to snap their winless run when they face a struggling South Sudan side.

Meanwhile, South Sudan lost 3-0 to Mali at home in their previous 2019 AFCON qualifier last month.

The defeat extended the Bright Stars' winless run to seven games in all competitions.

The East African side will be looking to stun a Gabon side which is also struggling.
