Palancas Negras recorded a 1-0 win over Botswana at home in their previous 2019 AFCON qualifier last month.

The victory extended Angola's unbeaten run to three games in all competitions having two wins and one draw.

The Southern African side will be eyeing their second successive win against a rejuvenated Mauritania side.

Meanwhile, Mauritania secured a 2-0 win over Burkina Faso at home in their previous 2019 AFCON qualifier last month.

This was Al-Murabitun's second successive victory in all competitions having defeated Guinea before facing Burkina Faso.

The West African side will be keen to maintain their good form against a resilient Angola side.
