eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) head coach Anthony Mdluli has lavished praise on his Egyptian counterparts ahead of tonight's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Cairo.

Sihlangu Semnikati will enter the lions den in the Egyptian capital with the Pharaohs brimming with confidence following their 6-0 thumping of Niger last month.

Mdluli has accepted that beating the seven-time Afcon champions is an almost impossible task, but that won't stop the Southern African side from playing their game in an attempt to upset the odds.

“The Egypt national team is very strong, it’s a huge national team with a huge name and reputation. As for our team it’s a small team with no experience,” Mdluli said during the pre-match press conference, as quoted by KingFut.com.

“We realize that our mission against Egypt is very hard and is almost impossible.

“Egypt is a well ranked team, but nothing is impossible in football, we have a lot ambition and we want to play as best as we can.

“Our players are very young, we’re building a new team, they have a lot of ambition and want to face the best teams in the continent and the best players,” he concluded.

The reverse fixture will take place at the Mavuso Sports Centre in Manzini on Tuesday.
