Tunisia will be looking to maintain their 100 percent winning start to their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign when they host Niger in a Group J match on Saturday at the Stade Olympique de Radès.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 20h15 (CAT).

Tunisia top Group J with six points after beating Egypt 1-0 in their first qualifying game thanks to a goal from Taha Yassine Khenissi and a 2-0 win over Swaziland thanks to goals from Khenissi once more and Naim Sliti.

Prior to those two victories Tunisia suffered three consecutive losses, but they seem to have turned things around and will be eager to make it three from three in Group J.

Niger, on the other hand, are bottom of Group J following a goalless draw in their opening qualifying match against Eswatini in June last year and an embarrassing 6-0 drubbing from Egypt last month on September 8th.

Prior to that 6-0 drubbing, though, Niger were on a three-match unbeaten run, register two wins in that run and one draw.

Tunisia and Niger have met on two previous occasions with the North Africans winning both (2-1 in January of 2012 and 5-0 in January of 2016).
