Namibia beat Mozambique 2-1 in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Group K qualifier at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto in Maputo on Saturday.
Mozambique controlled the early stages of the match, but struggled to break down the Namibian defence.
Still, the home side persisted and opened the scoring in the 26th minute thanks to a strike from Edison Mexer, 1-0.
Namibia tried to fight their way back into the game, but went into the half time break trailing by a goal.
Namibia continued to apply pressure at the start of the second half and were finally rewarded for their efforts with an equalizing goal in the 69th minute thanks to a strike from Petrus Shitembi, 1-1.
The goal gave Namibia even more confidence and they found the winner in the 93rd minute thanks to a strike from Dean Hotto, 2-1.
The win is Namibia's first in qualifying and sees all teams in Group K on four points.
The two countries will lock horns again next week Tuesday in another 2019 Afcon qualifier.
