Malawi will play host to Cameroon in the 2019 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualification Group B game.

The encounter will take place at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Tuesday, October 16.

Kick-off is at 14h30 CAT.

The Flames were beaten 1-0 by Cameroon in a Group B match which was played in Yaounde over the weekend.

The defeat left Malawi placed third on the group standings with three points from three games. They are three points behind second-placed Morocco.

The Southern African side will be hoping to move into second place with a victory over Cameroon at home.

Meanwhile, Cameroon will be brimming with confidence after securing a home win against Malawi.

The victory took the Indomitable Lions to the top of the group standings with seven points from three games. They are only a point ahead of second-placed Morocco.

The African giants, who have already qualified for the finals by virtue of being the hosts, will be looking to complete double over Malawi.
