Fabinho has tipped Liverpool teammate Sadio Mané to become one of the world's best players.
Mané has gone from strength-to-strenght in a Reds shirt, since his move from English Premier League rivals Southampton two years ago, and Fabinho has been impressed by the Senegal international's rise.
"Sadio is an excellent player," Fabinho told Goal.com "Before I came to Liverpool, I saw him on TV and I liked him a lot.
"He is very fast and very intelligent. He is everything to continue growing to become one of the best players in the world. I hope he continues with us for a long time. It is a pleasure to play alongside him.
Mané has scored four goals in 11 games this season, and this past weekend he helped the Teranga Lions book their place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
It has come at a cost, though, for the 26-year-old who reportedly suffered a broken thumb. Liverpool are yet to confirm to extent of his injury, but it unlikely he will feature against Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League this weekend.
