Mohamed Salah is set to feature for Liverpool away to Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League this weekend, despite initials fears that he would be sidelined for a few weeks.
THe 26-year-old picked up a reported muscle strain while on international duty with Egypt last weekend, and returned early to Merseyside in an attempt to speed up recovery.
Salah scored straight from a corner-kick before hobbling off in the same game as the Pharaohs beat eSwatini 4-1 in Cairo. He missed the reverse fixture in Manzini as the North African's duly booked their spot at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
But, Salah returned to full training with his Reds teammates on Thursday and is set to feature as he aims to re-ignte his season.
The former Chelsea man scored 44 goals last season, but has only managed three in 11 games this term.
Teammates and fellow African stars Sadio Mane and Naby Keita, though, are unlikely to feature against Huddersfield having both also picked up respective injuries while on national duty this month.
