Fenerbahce SK striker Yassine Benzia is eager to help the Turkish Super Lig giants end their winless run.

The Yellow Canaries have failed to win their last four matches in the Super Lig and they will now face Belgian giants Anderlecht in the UEFA Europa League Group D clash on Thursday.

"Fenerbahçe is a very big club and we are aware that we are wearing a jersey of a very big club. We have had poor results," (translated from Turkish) Benzia said.

"I would like to say that we are also aware that we are not in a good situation. Fenerbahce deserves to be at the top of the league table (Fenerbahce are placed 15th on the table).

Fenerbahce beat Slovakian side Spartak Trnava 2-0 at home in their previous Group D match three weeks ago.

"Let's call it fate right now, it's brought us to this point. We know we're in a very bad state right now. All we can do is work, work harder and try to get out of it," the Algerian striker said.

"Maybe we should be more united, we must shift the balance of power to the positive side. We're gonna do everything for that.

"We will do our best to start winning matches in a row."

The 24-year-old forward joined Fenerbahce on a season-long loan deal from French Ligue 1 outfit OSC Lille last August.

Fenerbahce will take on Ankaragucu in a Super Lig match on Sunday.
