Al Ahly head coach Patrice Carteron has demanded more from his players despite the Egyptians booking their spot in a 12th Caf Champions League final this week.
The Red Devils lost 2-1 to Entente Setif in Algeria but advanced into the showpiece with a 3-2 aggregate win as they now set their sights on a ninth Champions League crown.
Al Ahly will face Esperance de Tunis in the final over two-legs, with Carteron urging his troops to be better as they aim to extend their record in the competition.
"The players missed many chances, and there were many mistakes," Carteron said following the clash in Setif.
"I will talk with the players about these mistakes and will do my best to end them before the final.
"We reached our main objective and now we are in the final, we have not won the title since 2013, so we will do our best to win it this time," he concluded.
Carteron previously won the Caf Champions League with DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.
