SuperSport United will target another home victory in the Absa Premiership when they host Golden Arrows at Mbombela Stadium on 28 October 2018, kick-off at 15h30.

SuperSport played to a second successive draw when they were held 0-0 at Baroka FC on October 7. The Tshwane side has put together a three-game unbeaten run in the league.

Matsatsantsa boast a 100 percent home record so far this season, defeating AmaZulu, Chippa United and Black Leopards in their three games as hosts.

Arrows were in action in midweek, playing to a 1-1 draw away to Free State Stars on October 24. The Durban side almost claimed an unlikely win, but conceded a late goal to share the points.

Abafana Bes’thende have picked up six points from their five away matches this season. Their last two games on the road have ended in draws.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Arrows have met in 34 league matches since 2000/01. Matsatsantsa have claimed 18 wins compared to 10 for Abafana Bes’thende, while six games have been drawn. The Tshwane side has recorded 10 wins and suffered four defeats from 17 home matches in the rivalry.

Last season SuperSport won their home game 3-0 in the first half of the campaign, while the return game in Durban saw Arrows claim a 1-0 triumph. The teams’ last three league meetings have produced 11 goals.

SuperSport’s line-up from their 0-0 draw with Baroka on October 7: Williams, Kekana, Gould, Daniels, Bhasera, Furman, Ntshangase (Letsholonyane 72’), Phala (Mahlatsi 67’), Modiba (Mokoena 78’), Lungu, Keene.

Arrows’ line-up from their 1-1 draw with Stars on October 24: Gumede, Sibisi, Mngwengwe, Mzava, Zwane (R. Dlamini 30’), Molefe, Cele, Conco, Mutizwa, Sabelo (Bilankulu 65’), Lamola (Jooste 80’).
