The Black Queens of Ghana have arrived in Zambia ahead of their international friendly match against the Shipolopolo as they step up preparations for the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).
The senior national female team left Accra this week for their friendly match against their Zambian counterparts to be played on Saturday.
The Black Queens are expected to return to Ghana on November 9 and will wrap up preparations for the competition with a friendly match against South Africa's Banyana Banyana on November 11 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana are in group A alongside Algeria, Mali and Cameroon with their group stage matches scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Defending Champions Nigeria are in Group B and they will face South Africa, Kenya and Zambia at the Cape Coast Stadium.
