Kaizer Chiefs will look for a second straight win in the Absa Premiership when they host Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 10 November 2018, kick-off at 18h00.

Chiefs broke a two-game losing streak by edging Black Leopards 1-0 at home on November 7. The Soweto triumphed thanks to a lone goal from Willard Katsande and some excellent goalkeeping from Itumeleng Khune.

The Amakhosi have claimed just seven points from five home matches this season and will looking to improve on that record under coach Giovanni Solinas.

Chippa suffered a second successive defeat when they were beaten 1-0 at home by Mamelodi Sundowns on October 27. The Eastern Cape side will look for a return to their September-October form when they took seven points from nine available.

The Chilli Boys have yet to win away from home this season, with just one point from their four matches on the road. Their last away result was a 2-1 loss at Highlands Park in early October.

In head-to-head stats, Chippa and Chiefs have met in 10 league matches since 2012/13. The Amakhosi have claimed five wins compared to four for the Chilli Boys, while one match has been drawn. The Soweto giants have won three of their five home league matches against the Eastern Cape side, suffering two defeats in the process.

Chippa completed a league ‘double’ over Chiefs for the first time last season, winning 1-0 at home in the first half of the campaign and 3-0 away in the return game in Soweto. In fact, the Chilli Boys have won four of the last five league clashes between these two clubs.
