Ajax Amsterdam thumped Excelsior 7-1 in a Dutch Eredivisie match on Sunday to see them move into second place five points behind leaders PSV.
Donny van de Beek opened the scoring for Ajax on the half hour mark before Lasse Schone doubled their lead in the 44th minute to give them a 2-0 advantage at the break.
Van de Beek scored his second goal three minutes into the second half, but Ali Messaoud pulled a goal back for Excelsior in the 52nd minute to make it 3-1.
That joy, though, was short-lived with Kasper Dolberg scoring Ajax's fourth goal six minutes later followed by an own goal from Jerdy Schouten in the 71st minute to make it 5-1 to Ajax.
Moroccan Hakim Ziyech grabbed their sixth goal in the 79th minute and David Neres scored Ajax's seventh in the 87th minute to hand them a convincing 7-1 victory.
