It is all or nothing for Libya when they take on Seychelles in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match at the Stade Linite on Saturday afternoon.

Kick-off is at 14h30 (CAT).

If Libya hope to qualify for the Afcon in Cameroon next year then they have to win their Group E match against Seychelles away from home.

Nigeria currently top Group E with nine points from four games, followed by South Africa with eight points. Libya are third with four points while Seychelles are last with one point to their name.

Libya, though, will come into this game on a low note after suffering two consecutive losses to Nigeri in Afcon qualifying, going down 4-0 away from home on October 13 and then 3-2 loss at home in their most recent qualifying game on October 16.

Still, Libya will be buoyed by the fact that the last time they faced the Seychelles (in their first Afcon qualifier back in June last year) they thumped the islanders 5-1.

Seychelles have a terrible defensive record in this Afcon qualifying campaign having shipped a whopping 14 goals in four games. They have lost 5-1 to Libya in June 2017, 3-0 to Nigeria in September of this year and 6-0 to South Africa on October 13.

Seychelles only point came in a 0-0 draw in their most recent qualifying match against South Africa at home on October 16.

A lot, though, will depend on the result in the other Group E game when South Africa take on Nigeria on Saturday at 15h00 (CAT).
