Namibia and Guinea-Bissau will be fighting for top spot in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group when they lock horns on Saturday afternoon at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.

Kick-off is at 16h00 (CAT).

Both Namibia and Guinea-Bissau have seven points apiece at the top of Group K followed by Zambia and Mozambique with four points each.

Namibia’s qualifying campaign started on a poor note with a 1-0 loss to Guinea-Bissau back in June last year, followed by a 1-1 draw with Zambia in September of this year and then two victories over Mozambique (2-1 on October 13 and 1-0 on October 16).

Guinea-Bissau started their qualifying campaign with a 1-0 win over Namibia back in June last year, followed by a 2-2 draw against Mozambique in September of this year. Guinea-Bissau then suffered their first loss after going down 2-1 to Zambia on October 10, but bounced back with a 2-1 win over the same Zambia on October 14.

This will only be the second meeting between the two countries while the other Group K between Mozambique and Zambia will take place on Sunday.
