Cameroon head coach Clarence Seedorf is relishing the Indomitable Lions international friendly encounter against Brazil at MK Stadium this evening.

The 42-year-old is still finding his feet as boss of the defending Africa Cup of Nations champions, and pressure will continue to mount ahead of the 2019 showpiece on home soil if results are still hard to come by.

Cameroon lost 2-0 to Morocco over the past weekend, with Seedorf’s first few months in charge having had it’s fair share of controversy after he unceremoniously axed captain Benjamin Moukandjo – among others - due to the forward playing his club football in China.

The former Dutch international duly backtracked on his earlier statement regarding players plying their trade in the more unfashionable leagues, and will now be hoping for a response from his team on the field of play.

“Playing Brazil is always special – it will be a huge experience for all of the players and for us as coaches too,” Seedorf told BBC Sport.

“I have not played on Milton Keynes before, so this is different for me – but the stadium is great and I a looking forward to the game.

“It is a great testing moment, to understand where we are as a team and also, beyond the result and what happens in the actual match, the way we prepare and the attention around it will help us for important games in the future.”

Cameroon and Brazil last locked horns at the 2014 FIFA World Cup hosted in the South American nation. Goals Neymar (brace) Fred and Fernandinho guided the hosts to a comfortable 4-1 win in a rather forgetful tournament for the West African’s.
