18h55 - We wrap up today's ASW coverage with news of the final scores from the Premier League: Brighton 1-1 Leicester City, Everton 1-0 Cardiff, Fulham 3-2 Southampton, Manchester United 0-0 Crystal Palace, Watford 0-3 Liverpool and West Ham 0-4 Man City. Kicking off at 19h30 is the London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, with Serge Aurier starting for the former.

18h45 - Liverpool have had Jordan Henderson sent off but they lead 2-0 away to Watford, while Leicester City have come from behind to draw level at 1-1 with hosts Brighton.

18h40 - Geoffrey Kondogbia's Valencia enjoy a 2-0 lead at home to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.

18h35 - Kicking off at 19h00 is the second Serie A match of the day, which sees Alfred Gomis and Mohamed Fares start for SPAL away to champions Juventus.

18h25 - Fulham now leading 3-2 at home to Southampton, Sadio Mane provided an assist for Mohamed Salah to put Liverpool 1-0 up away to Watford, and the Bundesliga's afternoon matches have wrapped up: Bayern 3-3 Dusseldorf, Augsburg 1-3 Eintracht Frankfurt, Hertha Berlin 3-3 Hoffenheim, Mainz 1-2 Dortmund and Wolfsburg 1-0 RB Leipzig.

18h15 - Jean Michael Seri's Fulham v Mario Lemina's Southampton is turning into the game of the day in England, with the teams now locked at 2-2.

18h10 - News of an early goal in France, where Max Gradel's Toulouse are 1-0 down at PSG.

18h05 - Ishak Belfodil has come off the bench for Hoffenheim, who lead 3-2 away to Hertha Berlin, while Achraf Hakimi's Dortmund are drawing 1-1 away to Mainz.

17h55 - Full time in Italy's early game, where Seko Fofana's Udinese claimed a 1-0 home win over Roma.

17h50 - Half time in the Premier League, here are the scores so far: Brighton 1-0 Leicester, Everton 0-0 Cardiff, Fulham 2-1 Southampton, Man United 0-0 Palace, Watford 0-0 Liverpool, West Ham 0-3 Man City.

17h40 - Coming up in 20 minutes we have the first Ligue 1 match of the day, which sees Issiaga  Sylla, Max Gradel and Mathieu Dossevi start for Toulouse away to Paris Saint-Germain.

17h35 - Jean Michael Seri's Fulham have drawn level at home to Southampton, while Wilfred Ndidi is on as an early substitution for Leicester, who have had James Maddison sent off away to Brighton.

17h25 - Seko Fofana's Udinese lead 1-0 at home to Roma in Serie A, while Brighton lead 1-0 at home to Leicester and Southampton have the same advantage away to Fulham.

17h15 - Arthur Masuaku's West Ham already find themselves 1-0 down at home to Manchester City.

17h05 - We are underway in the Premier League matches, while Spain's La Liga will resume with a match between Valencia and Rayo Vallecano which kicks off in 10 minutes. Geoffrey Kondogbia and Sergio Akieme are on the respective benches.

16h55 - In the Bundesliga, Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin are 2-1 down at home to Hoffenheim after an exciting opening 25 minutes.

16h45 - Cheikhou Kouyate and Wilfried Zaha start for Crystal Palace away to Manchester United, Liverpool feature Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane away to Watford (who have Isaac Success on the bench) and Arthur Masuaku starts for West Ham United at home to Manchester City, who have kept Algerian star Riyad Mahrez on the bench.

16h40 - Everton v Cardiff City sees Idrissa Gueye in midfield for the former, while Sol Bamba and Bruno Ecuele are in defence for the latter, and Jean Michael Seri comes up against Mario Lemina in midfield for Fulham v Southampton.

16h35 - Coming up in 25 minutes we have six Premier League matches getting underway. The first sees Brighton & Hove Albion host Leicester City - there are no African starters, but the likes of Leon Balogun, Yves Bissouma, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho  are waiting in reserve.

16h30 - We begin today's ASW with news of an ongoing Serie A match which sees Seko Fofana and William Troost-Ekong featuring for Udinese at home to Roma. There are also five Bundesliga matches which have just kicked off: the games which feature African starters are Hertha Berlin (Salomon Kalou) v Hoffenheim and Mainz (JP Gbamin, Kunde Malong) v Borussia Dortmund (Achraf Hakimi).
