Welcome to our live coverage of the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations final between Nigeria and South Africa at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana, kickoff time 18h00 CAT.


Nigeria: Oluehi, Chukwunonye, Ohale, Ebi, Ebere, Chikwelu, Ayinde, Okobi, Ordega, Oshoala, Ajibade.

South Africa Swart, Ramalepe, Van Wyk, Mbane, Vilakazi, Makhabane, Smeda, Kgatlana, Motlhalo, Ndimeni, Seoposenwe.


1' The game is underway.

5' - South Africa striker Seoposenwe fires the first shot on target and Nigeria goalkeeper Oluehi makes a comfortable save.

10 ' - Nigeria secured a win over Cameroon in the semi-finals, while South Africa defeated Mali.

15' - South Africa midfielder Smeda tries to score with a long range shot and his effort flies over the cross-bar as Banyana Banyana look to break the deadlock.

20'  - Banyana midfielder Makhabane's well taken free-kick is parried for a corner by Oluehi and the Super Falcons survive a scare.

25' - It is still 0-0 as we approach the half-hour mark.

30' - CAUTION: Ebere (Nigeria).

35' - Nigeria are now pressing South Africa as they look to break the deadlock.

40' - It remains 0-0 as we approach the half-time break.

45' - Banyana striker Kgatlana steals the ball from a Nigerian defender, but she recovers and gives away a corner.

HALF-TIME:  Nigeria 0-0 South Africa.

46' - The second-half is underway.

50' - CHANCE! Nigeria midfielder Ordega's final ball wasn't good enough to give the Super Eagles the lead.

55' - Nigeria striker Oshoala crosses the ball into the box, but  South Africa keeper Swart got to it before Ajibade.

60' - Nigeria sub: Ihezuo IN, Ajibade OUT.

65' - It looks like South Africa are about to make a change with Smeda down injured.

66' - South Africa sub: Matlou IN, Smeda.

70' - Both teams are pushing for the opening goal as we enter the final 20 minutes of this encounter.

73' - South Africa sub: Nyandeni IN, Ndimeni OUT.

74' PENALTY for Nigeria. Ordega is fouled inside the Banyana box by Swart.

75' - Nigerian striker Oshoala misses the target from the spot-kick.

80' - Ten minutes left and it remains goalless here in Accra.

85' - Oshoala is sent through on goal, but the forward is ruled offside as the Super Falcons look to snatch a late winner.

90' - The fourth has added three minutes.

100' - Nigeria's Chinwendu lays a pass for Asisat, but her shot was pushed into corner by Swart.
