Mamelodi Sundowns fan favourite Anthony Laffor is delighted to be back in action following a spell on the sidelines.
The 33-year-old, who's contract at the club expires at the end of the season, has missed most of the current campaign with a knee injury.
Laffor returned to action for the Brazilians in a 4-0 thumping of Al-Ahli Benghazi last weekend as they successfully booked their place in the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
The former SuperSport United man chipped in with a goal and assist for the 2016 champions who are eager to add to the title they won with victory over Zamalek in the final; in which Laffor bagged the opener in a 3-1 aggregate win.
“I want to thank the coaches and also want to thank my teammates for being supportive throughout the season and I am very humbled," said Laffor as quoted by KickOff.com.
“I keep my feet on the ground and I just want to keep working hard for this team."
