Liverpool's Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah is the favourite to named 2018 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Men's Player of the Year.
The Egypt international is expected to defend the crown he won 12 months ago, following yet another eye-catching year for the Liverpool attacker.
Salah scored 44 goals in 2018, compared to 27 and 23 goals respectively for fellow nominees Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who currently tops the English Premier League scoring charts.
The same three players were nominated for the award last year with Salah emerging victorious.
Senegal international ,Mane, is part of the top three for the third successive year while Aubameyang has been included in the final three for the fifth year in succession. The Gabon and Arsenal forward won the accolade in 2015 while still playing for Borussia Dortmund.
Salah also contributed with 18 assists for club and country last year, compared to eight and six respectively for Aubameyang and Reds teammate Mane.
