Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane is confident that his troops will come out on top at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
The current Absa Premiership holders kick-off 2019 with a mouthwatering showdown away to Kaizer Chiefs in Soweto this weekend, as they set their sights on reeling in log leaders Bidvest Wits.
Sundowns have claimed some memorable wins at FNB Stadium in recent history, but haven't beaten the Amakhosi in their last four league outings.
"We need to catch up. We need to try and win," Mosimane said as quoted by KickOff.com.
"It's not easy to go to FNB with a new coach. Okay, we don't lose to be honest at FNB, but also we don't win easily.
"Coach [Ernst] Middendorp is a tough, top disciplinarian. I could read one or two comments. I am following a bit. The players are having it different."
Kaizer Chiefs have won three games in succession across all competitions since Ernset Middendorp's re-appointment last month.
