Etafia provides useful tips for Nigeria's Lobi Stars in CCL

Former Nigeria international Greg Etafia has provided useful tips that could help Lobi Stars beat Mamelodi Sundowns.

Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) giants Stars are scheduled to face South African outfit Sundowns in the CAF 2018/19 CAF Champions League Group A game next weekend.

Sundowns are one of the top teams in Africa having won the Champions League in 2016, before reaching the final in the following year.

Etafia, who has worked for South African clubs such as Baroka FC and Highlands Parks, exposed Sundowns' tactics ahead of their clash with Stars.

“(Mamelodi Sundowns) are a top club with a lot of financial muscle," Etafia told FootballLive Nigeria.

"They are a team who like to attack both at home and away, but currently they are suffering a lot of injuries.“

"They are likely to boost the team with few new signings in this transfer window."

Etafia also turned out for South African side Moroka Swallows during his playing days.

Stars will host Sundowns at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Friday, January 11.
