TP Mazembe look to blow away Ismaily

TP Mazembe will face off with Ismaily in the 2018/19 CAF Champions League Group C match on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15h00 CAT.

The encounter will take place at the Stade TP Mazembe in the DR Congolese city of Lubumbashi.

Mazembe reached the group stage after defeating Zambian club Zesco United in the first round tie late last month.

The DR Congolese giants won 2-1 on aggregate having won 1-0 at home, before drawing 0-0 away.

They will look to experienced forward Tresor Mputu Mabi, who is one of the key players in the Mazembe squad.

Meanwhile, Ismaily booked their place in the last 16 after eliminating Cameroonian giants Cotonsport in December 2018.

The Egyptian outfit edged out Cotonsport 3-2 on aggregate despite losing 2-1 away having won 2-0 at home.

Baher El-Mohamady, who scored both home and away against Cotonsport, will look to inspire his side to victory in DR Congo.

Moroccan referee Rédouane Jiyed will officiate the match between Mazembe and Ismaily.
