Meanwhile, Al Ahly secured a 2-0 victory over DR Congolese champions AS Vita Club at home in their opening Group D match which was played last weekend.

The victory took the Egyptian champions to the second spot on the group standings and they are only behind leaders Simba on goal-difference.

Egyptian attacking midfielder Nasser Maher, who netted for Al Ahly against Vita Club, will be looking to score again and help his side win in Algeria.

Gabonese match referee Eric Otogo-Castane will be in charge of the game between Saoura and Al Ahly.
