Cameroonian giants Coton Sport have fired a warning to Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko ahead of their clash which will take place in Kumasi on Sunday.

The two teams will clash in the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup play-off round second-leg match with Kotoko having won 3-2 in the reverse in Yaounde last week.

Coton head coach Bertin Ebwelle worked on a leaking defence, which has seen the team concede 10 goals so far in the continental club championship, adding that tie is far from over.

“If they could score three goals here, we can do same out there,” said Ebwelle, whilst banking on the return Serge Seko to aid their quest.

“Serge is our playmaker and we missed him in the first leg. His absence compelled us to revise our tactics, and that was the cause of our troubles,” he added.

However, Ebwelle’s problems are far from as right back Thomas Bawak is suspended for accumulation of yellow cards. Offensive midfielder Moise Sakava, has just joined French side, Reims, ruling him out of the must-win clash.

Coton Sport captain Dauda Kamilou has poured cold water on the absence of Sakava, rather wishing the youngster the best in his new adventure.

“We would have loved to have him (Sakava) around, he’s one of our kingpins, but he has his career to manage. We wish him good luck," he said.

The winner of the tie advances to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
