Liverpool have moved seven points clear at the top of the English Premier League table thanks to a 93rd minute goal from Senegal’s Sadio Mane which saw them beat Crystal Palace 4-3 at Anfield on Saturday.
Andros Townsend opened the scoring for Palace in 34th minute which gave the away side the lead going into the break.
The second half saw Liverpool come storming out and Egyptian Mohamed Salah levelled matters a minute after the restart, 1-1.
Roberto Firmino then gave the Reds the lead in the 53rd minute, but that only lasted twelve minutes before James Tomkins restored matters, 2-2.
Salah scored his second of the game in the 75th minute before Mane made it 4-2 in the 93rd minute. Palace did find a consolation goal in the 95th minute courtesy of a strike from Max Meyer which saw the game end 4-2.
Liverpool are now seven points above Manchester City on the league table, but the Citizens are in action on Sunday against Huddersfield.
