Tanzania international Mbwana Samatta scored for the fifth game running in Genk's 3-2 win over Sint-Truiden in the Belgium Pro League this past weekend.
The forward's strike took his goal tally in the country's top-flight to 16 in 21 games this season. Genk currently sit 10 points clear atop the league standings after 22 rounds of fixtures.
Samatta's exploits haven't gone unnoticed and according to reports last week the Pro League golden boot leader was subject to a big-money bid from Cardiff City this month.
The 26-year-old also emerged on Middlesbrough's radar last year as he continues to turn heads across Europe.
Samatta has scored 25 goals in 32 games across all competitions for Genk this season including three in five Europa League group stage games.
The former TP Mazembe forward has scored 59 goals in 144 games for Genk.
