ZESCO United will play host to rivals Nkana in an all Zambian 2019 Caf Confederations Cup Group C clash at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The two Southern African clubs booked their place in the group stages of Africa's second tier competition after dropping out of the Caf Champions League qualifiers, following aggregate defeat to TP Mazembe and Simba respectively.

ZESCO suffered a narrow 2-1 loss to Mazembe over two-legs before thumping South African giants Kaizer Chiefs 5-2 on aggregate - thanks in large part to three goals in two matches from Jesse Were.

Nkana suffered a 4-3 loss to Simba before easing to a comfortable 3-0 win over Ivorian club FC San Pedro to duly book their place in Group C alongside Team Ya Ziko, Al-Hilal and Asante Kotoko.

The Red Devils will be boosted by the return of captain Walter Bwalya for the clash after he successfully recovered from injury.

Lahlou Benbraham of Algeria will take charge of the clash. CLICK HERE TO VISIT AFRICAN FOOTBALL ZAMBIA
