Golden Arrows will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership when they host SuperSport United at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on 10 February 2019, kick-off at 15h30.

Arrows picked up their fifth win of the season – and extended their unbeaten run to four league matches – when they defeated Highlands Park 2-1 at home on February 2, with goals from from Danny Venter and Lerato Lamola.

Abafana Bes’thende have claimed just 14 points from nine home matches this season. However, they have won their last three consecutive matches as hosts.

SuperSport broke a three-game winless run in the league by defeating Bloemfontein Celtic 2-1 at home on January 20, with goals from Bradley Grobler and Teboho Mokoena.

Matsatsantsa have claimed 10 points from as many away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 2-0 loss at Black Leopards in mid-January.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Arrows have met in 35 league matches since 2000/01. Matsatsantsa have claimed 18 wins compared to 10 for Abafana Bes’thende, while seven games have been drawn. The Durban side has recorded six wins and suffered eight defeats from 17 home matches in the rivalry.

When the teams met earlier this season, at Mbombela Stadium in late October, they played to a 1-1 draw. United’s led through an own goal from Nkosinathi Sibisi, but Arrows responded in the second half through Siboniso Conco.

Arrows’ line-up from their 2-1 win over Highlands on February 2: Gumede, Sibisi, Mathiane, Lunga, Dube, Bilankulu, Venter, Sabelo (Lamola 70’), Parusnath (Molefe 64’), Jooste, Mutizwa (Moreira 77’).
