The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced that it has changed the venue for the upcoming Morocco-Argentina friendly game.
FRMF revealed that Tangier’s grand stadium will host the game instead of Rabat for logistical reasons.
The game, which will take place on March 26, is part of Morocco’s preparation for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which is set to take place in Egypt between June and July.
"For logistical reasons, the friendly match, which will be held on Tuesday 26 March 2019, between the national team and his Argentine counterpart from the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat, was transferred to the big stadium of Tangier."
"It is noteworthy that this friendly match is part of the preparations for the national team for the African Cup of Nations, which will be held in Egypt," (translated from Arabic to English) a statement read.
Morocco's accomplished French coach Herve Renard will be looking to lead the African giants to victory against Lionel Messi's Argentina.
