It was a miserable day at the office for Algerian Ryad Boudebouz on Saturday who was sent for an early shower in his side’s 4-1 thumping by Levante in the Spanish La Liga.

Levante dominated proceedings from the outset and opened the scoring courtesy of Jose Morales in the 20th minute before Coke doubled their leader with a deadly heading in the 40th minute.

Matters went from bad to worse for Celta Vigo when they were reduced to ten men four minutes into the second half after Boudebouz was shown a straight red card for a horrible tackle.

Levante confirmed their dominance with a third goal just after the hour mark, scored by Jose Morales.

Celta Vigo did find a consolation goal in the 88th minute from the penalty spot thanks to Brais Mendez, but their joy was short-lived with Borja Mayoral restoring their three-goal advantage a minute later.
