Egyptian Premier League club Ismaily are set to appeal the latest sanction imposed on them by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Ismaily were initially disqualified from this season's tournament with immediate effect after crowd trouble halted their 2-1 defeat at home to Tunisia's Club Africain last month - a decision that was duly overturned.

CAF have since decided to hand the club a 40 000 dollar fine for the riots and ordered the Ismailia-based club to play their next two CAF Champions League group stage home games behind closed doors.

Ismaily, though, are set to challenge the latest sanction with the club announcing on it's official website (as per KIngFut), that they will launch an appeal.

The Egyptian club are set to welcome Algeria's CS Constantine to the Ismailia Stadium this weekend. Ismaily lost their opening group stage game 2-0 away to TP Mazembe.
