SuperSport United will look to continue their winning streak in the Absa Premiership when they host Baroka FC at Lucas Moripe Stadium on 23 February 2019, kick-off at 20h15 CAT.

SuperSport racked up a third straight win in the league when they defeated Orlando Pirates 1-0 on February 20. United were the first time to defeat the Soweto side in the league since August last year.

Matsatsantsa have claimed 19 points from nine home matches this season. Only Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City have claimed away wins against SuperSport this term.

Baroka played to a fourth successive draw when they were held 2-2 at home by Bloemfontein Celtic on February 10. The Limpopo side has managed just one win in their last eight league outings.

Bakgaga have claimed nine points from 10 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 1-1 draw at Orlando Pirates on January 22.

In head-to-head stats, Baroka and SuperSport have met in five league matches since the 2016/17 season. Bakgaga have claimed two wins compared to one for Matsatsantsa, while two games have been drawn. The Tshwane side has recorded one win and one defeat from their two home matches in the rivalry.

When the teams met earlier this season, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in October 2018, they played out a 0-0 draw – it was the first goalless stalemate between the clubs.

SuperSport’s line-up from their 1-0 win over Pirates on February 20: Williams, Nhlapo, Kekana, Daniels, Bhasera, Rusike (Keene 90+2’), Webber, Furman, Modiba (Khumalo 88’), Machupu (Ntshangase 80’), Grobler.

Baroka’s line-up from their 2-2 draw with Celtic on February 10: Chipezeze, Semenya, Sibiya, Mabeba (Vilane 80'), Makgaka (Mokgobo 90'+4'), Makume, Chinyengetere (Patjie 32'), Mosele, Dickens, Mongae, Mdantsane.
