A wounded Zesco United side will return to CAF Confederation Cup Group C action on Sunday when they host Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman.

The Zambian champions succumbed to their maiden defeat in the group stage when they lost 2-1 away to Ghana’s Asante Kotoko in Kumasi last week.

However, Zesco occupies top spot with Hilal, Kotoko and Nkana in that order.

Zesco coach George Lwandamina has said he is not getting any sleepless nights over the dead-heat ensuring on the first bend in Group C.

“We have just played two games each with four remaining," Lwandamina told the CAF website ahead of the clash.

"If my mathematics serves me right, we have three points each and if the league was to end today, I am sure, Zesco would still be on top."

The encounter will be played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Zesco's Zambian rivals Nkana will host Kotoko at the Nkana Stadium on Sunday. CLICK HERE TO VISIT AFRICAN FOOTBALL ZAMBIA
