Liverpool’s Senegalse star Sadio Mane says his side must look to “enjoy” their crunch Premier League match away to Manchester United this afternoon.
The Reds head to Old Trafford looking to reclaim top spot on the log from United’s cross-town rivals, Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s charges are hoping to end a near 30-year drought in the English top flight and the pressure is growing with every game.
Despite this, Teranga Lions forward Mane wants the team to relish the challenge and use a positive outlook to secure victory.
“We always want to be top of the table – and you can only do that by winning games," said Mane, who could be joined in the line-up by fellow Africans Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita and Joel Matip.
“We have another important game and we know if we win it where it will take us (in the table), so we will go there, enjoy it and try to win the game.
“As I always say, putting pressure on ourselves is not going to help us. This game is like all other big games – we respect them, but I think we can also beat any team.
“Every single game now for us is very, very big. We know that, so let's focus and take it game by game.
“It will be a tough game, but we can still win because we have already won so many tough games.”
