Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango has put pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal that will keep him at the club for the next four-and-a-half years.
Onyango, 33, has struggled in recent weeks with a reported back problem while his blunder against Polokwane City cost the club all three points in Tshwane last week.
Nonetheless, the Brazilians have kept faith Africa's No. 1 goalkeeper and showcased their appreciation for his contribution to the club's success over the past eight years by rewarding him with a new bumper deal.
The contract extension means that Onyango will spend more than a decade at the club, having already obtained cult status at Chloorkop for his role in winning the 2016 Caf Champions League.
The Uganda international has in total won two Absa Premiership, one Telkom Knockout Cup, one Nedbank Cup, one CAF Super Cup and one Caf Champions League title with the club since joining Sundowns from Mpumalanga Black Aces in 2011.
