Mohamed Salah is fully focussed on ending Liverpool's trophy drought and not on raking in more individual accolades.

The 26-year-old will this week become the faster player to score 50 English Premier League goals for a single club, if he finds the back of the net in either his 64th or 65th appearance for the Reds in the league.

Liverpool play host to Watford on Wednesday evening before making the short trip to Goodison Park on Sunday for a Merseyside Derby showdown against Everton.

Salah, though, isn't too concerned about individual success and chooses to rather focus on helping the Reds end their 29-year wait for a league title.

"It would be nice to score number 50, number 51 and 52! I always push myself to score more goals and to perform better," Salah told Liverpool's official match-day programme

"Of course records are nice but for me the Premier League is now the most important thing.

"It is a very big week. There are three games in eight days and if we can do well in them and still be top of the table that's big for us.

"After that there will only be nine games left and we will have time to recover for them and time to think about that."

Salah is the league's leading scorer with 17 goals in 27 appearances.
