Cape Town City will look to dent Mamelodi Sundowns’ title hopes when the teams meet at Athlone Stadium on 5 Match 2019, kick-off at 19h30.

City claimed a second win from their last three league matches (which have produced a combined total of 15 goals) when they came from two down to defeat Bidvest Wits 3-2 in Johannesburg on March 2.

The Citizens have claimed 21 points from 11 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 3-2 win over Maritzburg United on February 23.

Sundowns played to a third draw from their last three league matches when they were held 0-0 at home by Bloemfontein Celtic. The Tshwane side has won just two of their last six Premiership outings.
