Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane believes his side are guilty of creating their own pressure and stress in their bid to defend the Absa Premiership title they won last season.
The Brazilians have dropped valuable points in recent weeks, but still sit top of the log standings having climbed to the summit with a 3-2 win over Cape Town City last week.
Sundowns were guilty of squandering several chances in the above mentioned encounter and almost let the result slip in the closing stages. Their struggles in finishing off chances were evident once again this past weekend as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Bloemfontein Celtic.
"It's belief. You keep trying, you keep making chances but you must convert because with times like these there are not so many chances, you must take the opportunities you create," said Mosimane.
"We create so many chances but we never take them. We need to take the opportunities and if we don't then it creates little bit of pressure, creates little bit of stress. It's stress when you're going to the finishing line, as I told you it's still far from finished. It's a long way."
The Brazilians take on CTCFC for the second time in the space of a week at Athlone Stadium this evening.
