Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp believes Sadio Mane is finally starting to realise that he's a 'world class' player.
The Senegal international has scored 14 goals in 27 English Premier League appearances this season and Klopp is under the impression that the 26-year-old will only get better.
“Sadio is coming to an age where things are becoming more natural for him,” said Klopp as per The Guardian. “He’s not having to convince people now. We all know that he’s a world-class player, and he has started realising that for himself.
“Mix it up with his attitude and his work rate, it can be a really decent career – even better than it was to now. He’s in a good moment of his career, and he’s in the best age group now, which they all are.”
The Reds fell to second on the English Premier League standings this past weekend following a goalless draw away to Everton. They next face Burnley on Sunday before a trip to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League next week.
