Banyana Banyana legend Noko Matlou on Wednesday featured in her 150th game for South Africa in a match against Finland at the 2019 Cyprus Cup on Wednesday.

Matlou has been a mainstay of the South African squad since making her debut 12 years ago, featuring all over the park, having started her career as a forward before moving into defence where she now features prominently.

The 33-year-old has scored an impressive 64 goals in her career and is only one of two South African women to be crowned CAF's Women Player of the Year.

Matlou was named the 2008 player of the year with current CAF Women's Player of the Year, Thembi Kgatlana, the only other Banyana Banyana player to match her feat.

Matlou is South Africa's second most capped player following Janine van Wyk.

South Africa lost 3-0 to Finland to finish 10th at the Cyprus Women's Cup.
