Petro Atletico will look for a major turnaround in the order of Group D in the CAF Confederation Cup when they host NA Hussein Dey in Luanda on Sunday, 10 March 2019.

The match is set for the Estadio 11 de Novembro, with kick-off at 15h00 CAT.

The Angolan hosts come into the game placed at the bottom of the pool with four points, having recorded one win, one draw and two defeats.

‘Os Petroliferos’ were last in action on March 3 when they succumbed 0-1 at home to Egyptian giants Zamalek. Hamid Ahaddad netted the only goal.

The Algerian visitors are the Group D leaders with seven points from their four matches (two wins, one draw, one defeat).

‘Nasria’ moved to the head of the standings last weekend when they defeated Kenya’s Gor Mahia 1-0 in Algiers, with an early goal from Abderrahmane Yousfi.

In terms of permutations, Petro cannot secure progression into the quarterfinals in this Matchday 5 even if they defeat Hussein Dey. But the Algerians could do exactly that if they win in Luanda, regardless of the result in the other Group D game, which sees Zamalek host Gor Mahia in Alexandria on Sunday night.

Hussein Dey and Petro Atletico met in Marchday 1 back in early February, with the Algerians claiming a 2-1 home win in Algiers thanks to goals from Mohamed Amine Tougai and Walid Alati. Vladamiro Eston scored for the Angolan side.

Seychelles referee Bernard Camille will take charge of the game in Luanda on Sunday afternoon.
