Orlando Pirates will face off with FC Platinum in the 2018/19 CAF Champions League match on Friday.

The Group B encounter is set to be played at the Orlando Stadium in the South African city of Johannesburg.

The South African giants were beaten 2-0 by Tunisian side Esperance de Tunis away in their fourth Group B match last month.

Meanwhile, Platinum were beaten 2-0 by Guinean champions Horoya AC away in their fourth Group B game last month.

The defeat left the Zimbabwean side placed fourth on the group standings - four points behind third-placed Pirates.

Petros Mhari, the Platinum captain, will be keen to play an important role in helping his side secure a win over Pirates.

Gabonese match Eric Otogo-Castane will be in charge of the game between Pirates and Platinum.
