Black Leopards will look to break their winless streak in the Absa Premiership when they host Chippa United at Thohoyandou Stadium on 10 March 2019, kick-off at 15h30.

Leopards have gone five league games without a victory, though they were close to breaking that drought in a 2-2 draw away to Free State Stars on March 2 – only a late equaliser from Ea Lla Koto’s Eleazar Rodgers denied them all three points.

Lidoda Duvha have claimed 15 points from 10 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a goalless draw with Highlands Park on February 24.

Chippa saw their four-game unbeaten run come to an end when they went down 1-0 at home to SuperSport United on March 3. It was the Eastern Cape side’s 10th loss of the season.

The Chilli Boys have claimed just eight points from 11 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 2-0 win at Free State Stars on February 9.

In head-to-head stats, Leopards and Chippa have met in three top-flight league matches since 2012/13. The Chilli Boys boast an unbeaten record, with one win and two draws to their name. Lidoda Duvha’s only previous home game in the rivalry ended 0-0 back in September 2012.

When the teams met earlier this season, at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in August 2018, they played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Chippa twice came from behind to salvage a point, with Thatayaone Kgamanyane scoring a last-gasp equaliser.

Leopards’ line-up from their 2-2 draw with Stars on March 2: K. Ndlovu, Munganga, Ndou, Zulu, Munyai, Ngambi (Bereng 46'), Maselesa, Nange (Kapinga 75'), Hlongwane, Mhlongo (Tshepe 46'), Musonda.

Chippa’s line-up from their 1-0 loss to SuperSport on March 3: Mzimela, Macheke, Tlolane, Nsabiyumva, Shitolo, Komane, Malepe, Rakhale, Makobela (Mayambela 58'), L.Manzini (R.Manzini 57'), Gamildien (Twala 70').
