SuperSport United will aim to keep up their strong form in the Absa Premiership when they host Free State Stars at Lucas Moripe Stadium on 10 March 2019, kick-off at 15h30.
SuperSport have won four of their last five league matches after they edged Chippa United 1-0 away on March 3, with a goal from Mxolisi Machupu.
Matsatsantsa have claimed 19 points from 10 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 2-1 loss at the hands of Baroka FC on February 23.
Stars are on a three-game unbeaten run and played to a 1-1 draw at home to Polokwane City in their last outing on March 6. Eleazar Rodgers scored a late equaliser for the second game in a row.
Ea Lla Koto have claimed just eight points from 10 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 3-2 win at derby rivals Bloemfontein Celtic on February 24.
In head-to-head stats, Stars and SuperSport have met in 45 league matches since 1991. Matsatsantsa have claimed 16 wins compared to 10 for Ea Lla Koto, while 19 matches have been drawn. The Tshwane side has won 10 of their 22 home matches against their Free State counterparts, suffering three defeats in the process.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Goble Park in November 2018, SuperSport claimed a 1-0 away win thanks to a goal from James Keene. Stars have won just once in their last eight league matches against United.
