JS Saoura seek CAF CL redemption

Algerian club side JS Saoura will be eager to exact revenge on Simba when the two teams lock horns in a Caf Champions League clash at Stade 20 Aout 1955 in Bechar on Saturday evening.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The Eagles suffered a 3-0 defeat away to the same opponents in January. Meddie Kagere scored a brace for the Tanzanians in Dar Es Salaam, who got their campaign off to the perfect start.

Simba suffered successive 5-0 defeats away to AS Vita and Al Ahly respectively in their next two matches, but bounced back spectacularly with a 1-0 win over the Egyptian giants and eight-time champions last time out.

The Victory propelled the Tanzanian champions up to second place in Group D , a point behind Al Ahly and point above JS Saoura heading into this weekend's round of fixtures.

Zari Hammar scored the only goal of the game for JS Saoura in a 1-0 win over AS Vita in their most recent encounter.
