Baroka FC and Golden Arrows will both be looking for a return to form in the Absa Premiership when they meet at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 13 March 2019, kick-off at 19h30.

Baroka suffered a second successive defeat (and have won just once in their last eight league outings) after they succumbed 2-1 away to Highlands Park on March 9.

Bakgaga have claimed just nine points from 11 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 3-1 loss against derby rivals Polokwane City on March 3.

Arrows have gone four league matches without a win and suffered an eighth defeat of the season when they were beaten 2-0 at Polokwane City on March 9.

Abafana Bes’thende have claimed 11 points from 12 away matches this season, and have not won on the road since the opening round of the 2018/19 campaign.

In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Baroka have met in five league matches since 2016/17. Abafana Bes’thende and Bakgaga have both claimed one win each, while three games have been drawn. The Limpopo side’s two home games in the rivalry have both ended in draws.

When the teams met earlier this season, at the Princess Magogo Stadium in November 2018, Baroka claimed a 2-1 away win thanks to goals from Jemondre Dickens and Vusi Sibiya.

Baroka’s line-up from their 2-1 loss to Highlands on March 9: Chipezeze, Kgoetyane, Gebhardt, Mongae (Makgaka 62'), Sibiya, Patjie, Mosele, Madigoe, Mdantsane (Mabeba 67'), Semenya, Vilane (Dickens 55').

Arrows’ line-up from their 2-0 loss to Polokwane on March 9: Gumede, Sibisi, Mathiane, Mzava, Lunga, Venter, Phiri (S.Dube 46'), S.Parusnath, Ndwandwe, Mutizwa (Sibeko 66'), Lamola (Jooste 78').
